The organisation

We are a community organisation working for the prevention of crime in partnership with both the Borough of Verdun and Police Stations 16 East and West.

Mission

Action Surveillance Verdun’s priority is to improve Verdun’s citizens’ sense of security, which impacts directly on their quality of life. Our activities and services aim to:

1. Reduce the number of domestic break-ins.
2. Raise citizens’ awareness of preventive measures they can take to increase their security in their home and when using public transportation.
3. Encourage Verdun’s citizens to participate in, and take responsibility for, their environment.
4. Maintain an active and complementary role in urban security, including fire prevention, and civil protection and first aid in case of a major catastrophe (emergency preparedness).
